Peninsula is a superb place to "hunt" and gather wild fruit. Within minutes of the Soldotna B&B, one can find a large variety of
mushrooms including bolets, morels and gilled mushrooms. |

In fall, blueberries, rasberries, currants, salmonberries and huckleberries are abundant.
These are great for eating right off the bush or making preserves.
